About the Project:

The Ottawa Airport Authority wanted to create a showcase befittng Canada's capital. This new airport is a three level, open concept design. The three-tiered water feature within the airport was deisgned to integrate all three levels and to portray the local area with its series of lakes and rivers connected by 44 locks. The Rideau Waterway system was built over a century ago and is a major landmark throughout the countryside. The water feature cleverly connects each level by waterfalls and waterwalls to create a memorable representation of the magnificent scenery in the area.
