About the Project:
Zlote Tarasy Shopping Mall is located in what is considered to be the architectural heart of Warsaw and is one of the most ambitious retail/mixed use projects ever to be conceived in Poland. Winner of International Shopping Center of the Year Global RLI Awards 2007, helping to revitalize central Warsaw. The 225,000 square meter project includes a sunken plaza and an iconic, undulating glass roof. Zlote Tarasy means "golden terraces" and the design of the cascading terraces and plaza with fountains provide entertainment for visitors.
Intended to help restore Warsaw's urban identity, Zlote Tarasy is a destination location to work, shop and be entertained - all combined under one roof. The series of water features serve as a visual backdrop to each area or, in the case of the magnetic water wall, is the focal point linking interior and exterior with color, water and interaction. For this feature, Crystal Fountains incorporated their latest in LED lighting technology and programming to produce the colorful LED shows.
